Many online faculty want student's to submit a oral presentation using PowerPoint with speaker notes included. The speaker note was originally designed as a resource for the speaker to use while presenting. The speaker notes can also be sent to Word so that that they are included with the slide and given as a handout.
The content of the slide should be limited with further explanation included in the speaker notes as shown in the picture below. Check with your Professor whether they want the citation to be included on the slide or in the speaker notes (or both). In addition, check to see where faculty want the references posted. Some will prefer this be included in the slide and others want the reference on the final slide of the presentation.
